GENERAL INFORMATION

The Tourist Information Office in Águilas, is dependent on the excellence of the Town Council of Águilas (Concejalía de Turismo del Excelentísimo Ayuntamiento de Águilas) both for administration and functional needs, and can be found at the following address:

Information:
-Information of Las Delicias (Daily from July until September) and throughout the rest of the year plus weekends and public holidays.
-Information Calabardina. (From July until August from Monday until Saturday)

The Tourist Information Office forms part of THE NETWORK OF TOURIST INFORMATION OFFICES IN MURCIA and certified by the quality system ISO 9001:00, and in order to function properly is dependent on the General Management of promoting tourism in Murcia. (Dirección General de Promoción Turística de Murcia).

MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TOURIST OFFICE

The Information Office of Águilas belongs to the town council of Águilas and is dependent on the council of tourism of the town Hall of Águilas. (la Concejalía de Turismo del Excelentísimo Ayuntamiento de Águilas).

As a Tourist office, it provides a uniquely wide advice service, based on all Tourist Information relating to the area or areas within its geographical, regional and local range, as well as, administering, supervising, controlling and searching for this information, included in its process are both technical and human aspects.

The Tourist information Offices are a key factor relating to the development of tourism, and can be found in and around the entire geographical region, particularly in those areas attracted by tourists, and are owned exclusively by the Public town halls where they are situated.

The groups of Tourist offices of the region of Murcia all belonging to THE NETWORK OF TOURIST INFORMATION OFFICES OF THE REGION OF MURCIA, characterised by their image and presentation of providing a basic common service. Dependent on the General Management of promoting a first class tourism, dedicated to fulfilling the responsibilities placed upon them, that corresponds to the implantation, coordination, certification and support indicated by their seal of approval.

THE NETWORK OF TOURIST INFORMATION OFFICES OF THE REGION OF MURCIA, aims to satisfy the demand of information within the tourist industry requested by all visitors or tourists, whether outside Murcia (potential consumers) or within Murcia (tourist consumers), offering information regarding all natural and cultural resources currently available in Murcia.
